After the networking cocktail hour, attendees were escorted to the next dining room where 2941 Restaurant’s in house Wine Director/Sommelier Jonathan Schuyler gave a brief but informative presentation on upcoming trends in wines as well as a few tips on some great values for champagne this holiday season. Then the gourmet lunch was served. On the menu were Lobster Bisque featuring large chunks of tender lobster meat accompanied by a trio of brioche buns, a duet of Pan Seared Salmon & Roasted Beef Tenders with herb pomme puree, haricots vert, red romaine and beef jus, and to top off the meal, dessert was a Caramel Apple Cheesecake with roasted apples, caramel marmalade, brown sugar, shortbread and vanilla crème fraiche. Delicious red and white wines accompanied the meal. Executive Chef Bertrand Chemel made an appearance to greet the group as well.
