Can I substitute a glass casserole dish covered with aluminum foil for a cake pan?
Question: My regular cake pan is missing, and I need to make a cake asap.
Can I put aluminum foil in my square, glass casserole dish and use that to bake the cake instead?
If so, do I need to make any adjustments to the temperature/cooking time?

Answer: You just need to reduce the heat by 25 degrees. Even with that, it may bake in a shorter time. Otherwise, it's just fine to use as is.
I think the glass would still conduct heat in the same way but it was a very clever idea. You are thinking! =)
