Im making candy from home but wanted to use cocoa powder. How can I sweeten it, and make it set still?

Question: I want to make the cocoa powder sweet, and liquefy it before setting it in a candy cluster. Is this possible?

Answer: I have been a candy maker (professionally) for about 6 years now and I don't see it possible. Cocoa powder is what is left of the cacao bean after processing to make the chocolate nibs. And then it still goes through a process before the consumer can actually use it.. You can

Tonight is Halloween and we'd like to remind people to watch out for children roaming the streets in search of candy and treats.

Children will be wearing all sorts of costumes -- from ghoulish to cute. Some might have reflective-type clothing or devices to make themselves visible, while others may not. Either way, motorists need to watch out for any child who may not be paying attention to his or her surroundings and dart into traffic.

Likewise, parents should keep a sharp eye on their little darlings so that no harm befalls them. We're talking about watching them as they roam from house to house in search of candy, making sure they walk in front of a moving vehicle.

But let's always keep in mind that some children, even with an adult chaperoning, can get giddy amid the excitement and dart into the street. And some adults, fully aware it's Halloween night, can have a lapse in attention while driving.
