Kettle Korner Kottage: Mixers
In Kansas, the weather has been so nice lately. I should of spent the day in the yard like I had planned but my daughter and I went to Paramount! Of course, I didn't leave empty handed. I spent a whole 6.00!! This evening, I went to the Friday night auction and since then, I have been fighting back tears. Being good isn't always so much fun! LOL. There was the nicest 1950's chrome table and chairs that I have ever seen. I really wanted it. But I let it go for 75.00. If I had bought it, it would of set in storage until I had the nerve to have my island torn out. I enjoy my island too much, but I also want a true vintage kitchen. Complete with stove, fridge and table. There is a woman out there who is very happy tonight, but it isn't me. Maybe some day another will come along. Oh and did I mention it was RED and gray?
How fun to enjoy your mixers. I love the ones that have the green bowls. I think I had one of those vintage mixers some time ago but I didn't use it, it was in my room where I kept all my collectibles, it was kind of a museum room in my basement that I called my forties room because everything in it was from the "old days" of when I was a kid. I've moved since then and no longer have it but I still have the photos and the memories.
