Good cause: Walk kick-off party
HOSPICE WALK BENEFIT PARTY. Thursday, Aug. 15, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Atrium, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers. The Walk Committee at Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston will host a Walk Kick-off Party with live and silent auctions, wine ring toss, treasure chest and more. Food, provided by Henry’s Market, features a chic spin on carnival favorites, a Sangria fountain, and ice cream by Treadwell’s Ice Cream. Television and radio personality Kim Carrigan will emcee. The Salem High School Marching Band will hold a car wash to benefit the band’s annual band camp, instrument repairs, and upcoming trip to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
