After a scoreless opening quarter against the New York Jets, the Patriots scored 35 points - including three touchdowns in a jaw-dropping 52-second span - to cruise to a 49-19 victory Thursday night. DETROIT - Justin Forsett scooted up the middle and lunged forward while a couple Detroit defenders closed in to stop him. His knee hit the ground, but the Houston running back hopped up quickly and took off toward the end zone. Forsett had nothing to lose by getting up and running - and unbelievably, the 81-yard scoring play stood. The officials missed the call, giving the Texans a touchdown, and Detroit coach Jim Schwartz inadvertently wiped out any chance of a replay review by throwing his challenge flag when he wasn't allowed to. In the summer of ’06 Tef released his debut demo, Playa 101: Class is in Session. The album showcased his talent not only as a superb lyricist, but also proved that a new sound in hip hop was emerging. With his creative metaphors and confident persona, Tef received a great response to his debut demo. Then following that up with what he calls his debut album: Hip Hop A.D. (Hip Hop After Death)- The Rise 2 Power. Tef then independently distributed and promoted this album. From that point Tef along with his hype man/ business partner (Marcus Cox) and artist/business partner Hypnautic, created the T.O.P. Flite Empire which is an independent record lable based out of Denver CO. T.O.P. Flite has since then expanded with other artist and super producer Johny Rocketz to create an entertainment juggernaut in the Midwest region. T.O.P. Flite has released 3 strong albums including King Tef’s “Tha K.I.N.G”, Hypnautic’s “Purple Rain”, and Johny Rocketz’ “The Young James Dean”. These albums and artists have taken Colorado’s Hip Hop music scene to the next level with sold out performances on the local level at all the main performance venues in the state. In Lexington Park, Maryland, there is a restaurant called "The Mixing Bowl," that is located just outside the gates of the navy base. It has a wonderful selection of quality food. It is called the Mixing Bowl because it is a mix of many types of cuisines from a number of different cultures. My daughter, Sarah, worked here for a year (she stopped when they shut down for renovations).
