1 bunch of asparagus spears, trimmed and blanched
250ml cream
4 eggs, beaten
45ml chopped parsley
Salt and pepper
Brush the sheets with melted butter and stack them on top of each other. Lay the sheets in a deep 22cm quiche pan and trim and fold in the edges to make it look neat.
Sprinkle the cheese over the base of the pastry. Add the ham and arrange the asparagus spears on top. Beat the eggs and cream. Add the parsley and seasoning and pour this into the pastry case.
Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and set.
